Meet The Team
Class Teacher - Mr Darbyshire
I graduated from Edge Hill University as a mature student back in 2017. I am now into my 7th year of teaching and I have taught in year 4, year 5 and year 6. I am married and have two beautiful daughters, one in secondary school and one who is also in year 6. Outside of teaching, I have a passion for all things nature from animals to walking in the countryside (especially Scotland), watching sport (rugby and football mainly) and travelling to different places and sampling their culinary delights.
Teaching Assistant - Mrs D. Nevison
I have been employed in education for the last 19 years. I attended Hope school, then Bishops Castle where I also completed my A levels. I returned to further education later in life to undertake a Foundation Degree then BA Hons. I am married with three grown up children who have blessed me with 4 grandchildren.
