  • Small Schools Success At Shrewsbury Town

    Published 08/05/24

On the May Bank Holiday Sunday I was so pleased to see the Year 5/6 Football Team compete against Prees at the Shrewsbury Town Stadium. It was a nervy game contested against two fantastic teams. I am pleased to say that the team took a 2-0 win and took home the biggest shield I have ever seen.

It was a great event and it was lovely to see so many parents and staff at the event cheering on the boys.  I am sure the day will live long in their memories.

We will begin with Class 3 children using the bus in the first instance and then see how we can open the service to more classes.

Mr Darbyshire will be running the sessions with his class and I am sure we will see the children out and about the local area soon putting the theory into practice.
