How are we doing?

SIAMS
As a church school, we inspected by SIAMS (the statutory inspection of Anglican and Methodist schools). We had an inspection on 8th December 2021.

Assessment
As you will probably be aware, the pandemic has caused significant disruption to statutory assessments. The data below relates to end of KS2 outcomes from the summer term in 2023.

Attainment
Assessment in primary schools was reformed in 2016. Results are no longer reported as levels; each child receives their test results as a scaled score from 80 -120.

Each year, the progress of our children and our school is measured nationally with a series of tests and assessments.  Children are assessed at the end of the Reception Year; at the end of Year One; at the end of Year Two and at the end of Year Six.  We publish these results so that you can see how well our children do compared to the national averages.  It is really important to know that in a very small school such as ours, one child can represent a large percentage and so data does fluctuate over time.

Please see the download section below to see our national attainment results from the academic Year 2022-2023.
