Assessment in primary schools was reformed in 2016. Results are no longer reported as levels; each child receives their test results as a scaled score from 80 -120.
Outcomes for all schools in 2022 are not published. This recognises that the children who undertook SATs in 2022 did so after 2 years of unimaginable disruption to their education, caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Individual attainment information is used internally and on transition to support teachers in planning learning which will continue to support children to catch up following and extraordinary two years.
